History
In 1989, Dan Beard founded Custom
Newsletter Concepts (CNC),
a newsletter publishing company specializing in the writing,
design, printing and mailing of customized corporate newsletters.
Founded on the principle that corporate newsletters are the
best way to provide the regular client contact needed in most
industries, CNC became an overnight success.
Today, the company is the nation’s largest publisher
and printer of personalized newsletters. Automotive, Human
Resources, Office Supply, Fuel Oil, Security, Health Care,
Dentistry and Veterinarian and Equine Practices are some of
the industries serviced by CNC.
It was CNC that provided the foundation for expansion into
the general commercial printing arena, creating a new company
— Beard Printing & Publishing. Featuring an experienced
staff of artists and designers utilizing both Mac and PC platforms,
ultramodern prepress film imaging equipment, color management
systems, one- to four-color process printing, bookmaking and
state-of-the-art mailing services, Beard is well positioned
as an industry leader. The company’s ability to turnkey
a project, from initial design to mailing, has taken "full-service"
printing to a whole new dimension.
