Mail Classifications
First Class Mail
Your best choice for time-sensitive mail. It is generally delivered
in 2-5 day from delivery to our
York, PA Post Office facility depending on the area of the country
where it is being delivered.
Standard Mail
Offers lower postage rates but with a longer delivery time. You
can expect delivery in 7-10
days, again depending on the area it is being delivered.
Benefits of First
Class mail
First Class offers a lower rate called Postcard Rate. This rate
applies to our 4.25 X 6 size
postcard. Any Postcard over 4.25 x 6 will mail at the normal First
Class Rates.
First Class Automated rates: If your mailer qualifies for “pre-sorted”
postage rates, we will
process it in this manner, passing the addresses through our mailing
software (government
approved) and addressing it automatically in zip-sort order. This
will insure that you get the
absolute lowest rates possible.
One other benefit is that First Class automatically includes the
forwarding or return of mail if
the recipient has moved. Standard mail is not forwarded unless you
use an Ancillary Service
Endorsement and pay additional fees for those forwarded and returned
pieces.
Lower postage rates for Non Profit
organizations
Non Profit organizations can apply to the U.S. Postal Service for
approval to mail at special Non
Profit postage rates. This class of mail is a lower rate then standard
mail with the same delivery time frames.
Using Custom Postcards for Non-Profit
mailings
Proper paperwork must be completed 2-3 weeks in advance of your
mailing in order to mail at
Non–Profit rates. This includes a completed Postal Service
Form 3623 plus a request for
additional entry on company letterhead signed by a responsible organization
official. We will
then forward these documents to our local Post Office for their
approval.
